Compactness, versatility, excellent acoustic performances. HT 20 is a tweeter with neodymium magnet, pre-coated TETOLON® semispheric soft dome and ferrofluid-cooled voice coil. The high energy and high efficiency magnet, as well as the housings given with the tweeter, insure minimum size and easy mounting, for correctly installing it in whatever car compartments. These new products will soon be annihilating the competition at SPL events near you! The Elettromedia R&D experience, combined with the use of the most advanced technologies enabled the Hertz team to build subwoofers and amplifiers with explosive SPL performance; born to dominate in competition. The M 12 UNLIMITED and M 15 UNLIMITED subwoofers, along with the MP 15K UNLIMITED amplifier are the most powerful weapons ever created specifically for SPL challenges; destined to reign as champion. The M 12 UNLIMITED (300mm) and M 15 UNLIMITED (380mm) are both designed to handle 8000 W! The innovative RMA (Removable Moving Assembly) provides the ability to replace the entire mobile assembly in few seconds, without removing the speaker from its mounting position. The mobile assemblies are available in many configurations differing in the number of spiders, cone material and voice coil impedance. This offers the ability to choose the assembly which is most efficient and appropriate for the overall system design and acoustics to achieve maximum SPL! By simply replacing the RMA element, you in essence have a brand new subwoofer! The double symmetrical spiders add the perfect mix of flexibility and robustness, even under the most extreme conditions. On top of this, SPL scores will increase dramatically thanks in part to the very large double magnet, high thermal dissipation plates and available water-repellent, non-pressed paper or layered kevlar cones. The MP 15K UNLIMITED amplifier can deliver over 15.000 W. The enormity of this project amazes; both in terms of the physical “size” of the product itself and of the results this amplifier can achieve in competitions. The power supply is impressive, with its 8 toroidal transformers, 20 - 3300uF–105° Low ESR primary capacitors for a total of 66000uF; 32 - TO247 Mosfets, 160 A each (over 5000 A!) and 10 - 820uF secondary capacitors capable of 200 V. The monstrous output stage features 20 -190A/360V impulsive current Mosfets. A unique supply current connection system provides the ability to transfer power between battery and amplifier with very low contact resistance. Direct Current® features 4 - 1/0 AWG cables (2 for the positive and 2 for the negative) terminated with ring terminals and secured to the amplifier with 4 - 2,5 mm thick copper buss bars connected directly to the printed circuit board. For those who crave ultimate destruction, multiple MP 15K UNLIMITED amps can be stacked upon each other with the Hertz SPL Stack System®. Each amplifier is secured to the next with the supplied 2 mm thick iron brackets. These 6 robust brackets are secured to the amplifier via threaded mounting points on the heatsink. Elettromedia's latest products were presented at the 2009 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Las Vegas, 8th january - 11th january, spreading a contagious enthusiasm, even among the most technologically demanding visitors.
The Audison Bit One was the hit of the show: this signal interface processor created a big stir. The Bit One amazed visitors with its range of available functions and especially for its high acoustic quality. The two demo cars on display were both equipped with an audio system controlled by the Bit One with visitors having the opportunity to listen to its incredible performance.
One of the cars was a 2008 Mercedes CLS 600, built by Steve Yi (Phoenix, Arizona) featuring Audison LRx amplifiers powering a complete Hertz Hi-Energy speaker system. The use of the Bit One processor enabled the creation of a high-end system, while maintaining the original OEM source unit. The installation for the second demo car, a 2006 Ford GT, was performed by Mobile Solutions (Calgary, Canada). The car was outfitted with a complete Audison Thesis system: TH 1.5 violino tweeter and the TH 6.5 sax woofer, powered by a Thesis TH Quattro amplifier. Everyone who listened to the two cars was very impressed with the results!
In the area dedicated to the Hertz brand, the complete range of the new Hi-Energy line made its world wide debut: systems, components and subwoofers which mark a further evolution in Hertz technology and design. The Hertz section also presented innovation in the Energy line, featuring the new subwoofer enclosures and the new SPL Show subwoofers dedicated to the SPL project.
Elettromedia organised highly specialised trainings for industry professionals in a reserved room. The trainings focused on the new Audison Thesis products and Bit One, explaining their technical aspects in detail: Audison engineers elaborated the advanced multi-media presentation.
During the event Elettromedia was presented with the prestigious Innovations 2009 Design and Engineering Award assigned to its Audison Thesis TH Quattro amplifier with the following accolades: « A four-channel amplifier striking the perfect balance between the latest in digital input and control, along with traditional analogue audiophilia.
